Overview

Ananta A. Rampersad is an associate in the West Palm Beach office of Roig Lawyers.

Ananta concentrates her practice in the area of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation, where she handles cases from inception through preparation for trial. During her file handling, she comprehensively and objectively reviews all aspects of the claim handling to determine the most efficient way to handle the defense of each particular matter. Ananta concentrates her practice on insurance contract and statutory interpretation, claims regarding the necessity of medical treatment, reasonableness of medical charges submitted to insurance carriers, and coverage disputes. Her experience includes extensive motion practice, negotiating settlements, preparing defense analysis reports, preparing case status reports, conducting depositions, and utilizing alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, when necessary. Ananta is known by colleagues and clients for her strong attention to detail and professionalism.

Ananta was a legal assistant with the firm for three years prior to becoming an attorney in Florida. She previously served as an associate attorney in private law chambers, Trinidad, from 1999-2000; and subsequently as a legal officer with the Ministry of Legal Affairs, Trinidad, from 2000 to 2005.

She is a native of Trinidad, West Indies and retains her license to practice in all Courts of Trinidad & Tobago.
