Marina's practice revolves largely around PIP cases involving complex litigation matters and investigations. Marina closely analyzes the facts and legal issues of each case to detect and defend against fraudulent claims, staged accidents, false and forged signatures and documents, patterns of unnecessary medical treatment, and unlicensed activity.
During law school, Marina served as a judicial intern for Judge Marina Garcia-Wood in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Broward County’s Foreclosure Division. She also clerked for a private firm in the area of state and federal employment law. She gained extensive courtroom experience as a certified legal intern in Nova Southeastern University’s Children and Families Clinic. Marina was also an active board member of her law school’s Tort Law Society and Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Society.
Prior to attending law school, Marina gained valuable experience as a litigation paralegal with responsibility for administering hundreds of cases involving complex civil matters.
