ROIG Lawyers Tampa Partner Presents Seminar on Transportation Law

ROIG Lawyers Tampa partner, Christopher E. Doran presents a seminar titled “Truck Accident Litigation From A to Z” hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI) at the Hyatt Place Tampa Airport.

The seminar will cover the complexities of Semi-Truck injury cases that are designed for intermediate level Attorneys, Claims Examiners/Adjustors, Risk Managers of Trucking Companies and Paralegals. Chris’ seminar will cover “Regulations and Safety Standards to Support Your Case” and the “Authentication and Admissibility of Truck Accident Evidence.”

In comparison to traditional auto accidents, truck accident litigation is considered complex due to heavy regulation of the industry and because the accidents typically involve multiple parties with adverse coverage disputes, contractual and common law indemnity claims, and choice of law and forum non issues. Moreover, truck accidents simply tend to result in a larger degree of injuries, property damage and environmental issues not normally seen in the average personal auto matter. This complexity requires more intensive pre and post-litigation investigation and exposure analysis.
