February 16, 2017

ROIG Lawyers is proud to announce that Nelson C. Bellido, managing partner of the Miami office, will moderate the “Should I (Or Anyone) Do Business in Cuba?” panel discussion at the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust’s Doing Business in Cuba: Legal, Ethical and Compliance Challenges Conference on Friday, March 10, 2017. The conference will take place from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Barry University Andreas School of Business in Miami Shores. The Florida Bar has granted 6.5 Continuing Legal Education credits for attorneys who attend the Ethics Commission’s day-long conference.

The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust was created in 1996 as a result of a citizens’ vote to amend the Home Rule charter. It is an independent agency with advisory and quasi-judicial powers. The Ethics Commission is dedicated to bolstering public trust in the administration of government by informing the public and private sectors about the laws and seeking strict compliance with them.
