ROIG Lawyers Attorney John S. Leinicke Re-Elected as President of DCDBA

The minority-owned multi-practice litigation law firm Roig Lawyers is pleased to announce that senior associate, John S. Leinicke, has been re-elected as President of the Dade County Defense Bar Association (DCDBA). John joined the DCDBA board in 2013 as Vice President and was first elected President in 2014.

The DCDBA is South Florida’s oldest voluntary bar organization dedicated solely to the civil defense litigator. In 1964, the DCDBA was formed to further the education, ethics, and professionalism of the local legal community. The DCDBA is a not-for-profit organization that provides each of its members the opportunity to network, socialize, and learn from the most outstanding members of the legal profession.

John’s practice primarily focuses on first-party litigation, fraud investigation, and statutory compliance issues involving medical licensure. John also has experience in the practice areas of medical malpractice and product liability.

His other current professional and community activities include the Chamber of Commerce: Leadership Miami and membership in the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute (“DRI”). As a member of the DRI, John has sat on the Young Lawyers Steering Committee for the past three years.

John is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 2004) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2008).
