ROIG Lawyers Presents CE Course to Large International Insurance Company

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that Gabriel Fundora and Raquel D. Campos will present CEU Institute-sponsored courses to the largest international property/casualty third party administrator on August 12, 2015.

Fundora will present “Effective Litigation Management,” which will provide the latest updates in damages law and practical skills and proven strategies for litigating damages. Campos will present “Apportioning Multiple Injuries.” The principal objectives of this course are to discuss multiple injuries versus a single injury and how the apportionment of the claim is handled. Both courses will be presented to licensed insurance claims and allied healthcare professionals.

Fundora focuses his practice in the areas of subrogation, arbitration, Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault, bodily injury, premises liability, wrongful death, and general civil litigation. Gabe handles cases ranging from insurance coverage defense, breach of contract, and negligence. He has significant experience handling large volume litigation in a cost-effective and timely manner. Fundora is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law (J.D., 2007) and New York University (B.A., 2003).

Campos’ primary area of practice includes all stages of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) /No-Fault litigation defense for various insurance companies. She manages a large litigation caseload which includes claims for unnecessary medical treatment, policy language disputes regarding coverage, the reasonableness of charges, and exhaustion of benefits, and reviews claims for possible fraud. In addition, she has supervised and mentored law clerks and new attorneys. Campos is a graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law (J.D., 2002) and Florida International University (B.S., 1999).

The purpose of CEU Institute is to provide challenging curricula that assists claims managers and allied healthcare professionals gain professional expertise while fulfilling their continuing education requirements, thereby improving claims management and healthcare delivery in the insurance and healthcare setting.
