May 13, 2016

Jeffrey B. Tutan, a partner in the Deerfield Beach office of ROIG Lawyers, has been appointed to the Civil Trial Law Certification Committee of The Florida Bar. Jeff’s three-year term begins July 1st. Jeff was selected by Bar President-elect William J. Schifino Jr. to fill a recent vacancy.

Jeff joins four other ROIG Lawyers attorneys appointed or reappointed to Florida Bar standing committees as of July 1st: Edward J. Carbone (Constitutional Judiciary Committee), Julie Harris Nelson (Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Voluntary Bar Liaison Committee), Veresa Jones Adams (Diversity and Inclusion Committee) and Craig P. Liszt (Admiralty Law Committee).

The Florida Bar is the third-largest mandatory state bar in the United States. All Bar members are invited to become involved in activities of the Bar’s standing committees. These various volunteer groups do much of the work of The Florida Bar. Special committees are appointed to study and make recommendations in response to issues of significance to the legal profession or system of laws in Florida.
