October 19, 2015

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that Stephen G. Mellor will participate in the Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Shepard Broad Law Center’s Mentoring Program as a mentor.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to share my experience as an attorney to help foster the next generation of lawyers through the Mentoring Program,” said Mellor. “This extraordinary opportunity will allow these future attorneys to gain insight into the legal profession, while developing their own skills and experiences.”

NSU Shepard Broad Law Center’s Mentoring Program offers law students the opportunity to establish a mentoring relationship with a professional in the field. NSU’s Office of Career & Professional Development pairs mentors and students, matching attorney practice areas with student practice area preferences. Mentors help students identify and fulfill professional goals while fostering the highest levels of ethics and professionalism.

Mellor is a graduate of NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center. He concentrates his practice in PIP/No-Fault litigation, bodily injury and premises liability. Mellor is experienced in the interpretation of out-of-state insurance contracts, including the application of Canadian and other substantive state law to Florida insurance claims. He also handles complex cases involving admiralty and maritime issues.
