Scharome R. Wolfe Presents CE on Comparative Negligence

Scharome R. Wolfe, partner in the Orlando office of ROIG Lawyers will be presenting a continuing education course on “Comparative Negligence” hosted by the CEU Institute on March 16, 2016 at the office of Allstate. The CLE is intended for all licensed insurance and allied healthcare professionals.

The CE will discuss the relevance of the term “party”, how not everything is as black and white as it may seem, but how there is a significant gray area. The presentation outlines’ the differences between comparative and contributory negligence, pure comparative, modified (50% bar rule) modified (51% bar rule) and pure contributory negligence.

Scharome has over 12 years of legal experience with her main practice concentrated on insurance defense litigation but also has experience in general auto defense; real property litigation including premises liability, construction defects, fraud and abuse in Personal Injury Protection (PIP), Uninsured Motorist (UM), Bodily Injury (BI), and general liability arenas; bad faith defense litigation; affirmative litigation and declaratory judgment actions on behalf of insurance carriers; special investigations into suspicious injury, medical, theft and fire claims, including conducting EUOs; debt collection; and creditor bankruptcy defense. She is a graduate of the University of North Florida (B.A., 2000) and West Virginia University College of Law (J.D., 2003).
