Chelsea E. Cabrera is an associate in the Miami office of Roig Lawyers.
Chelsea concentrates her practice in first-party property litigation. She represents clients in all aspects of insurance defense litigation including examinations under oath, depositions, hearings, mediations, and preparation for arbitration and trial.
Chelsea has extensive experience in litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Chelsea served as a trial attorney with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, where she successfully defended hundreds of clients at all phases of litigation and at trial in county and circuit court. Chelsea also gained invaluable legal experience at a national law firm practicing first-party property, third-party property, and bad faith litigation.
Chelsea earned her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in December 2019, graduating with honors. During law school, Chelsea interned for Judge Marcia G. Cooke of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida where she was able to gain experience in federal court. She also served as a research assistant to Professor Phil Sandon, and as an associate with LexisNexis Legal.
Chelsea is admitted to the Florida and Illinois State Bar.
