Joshua Meadow is an attorney in the Deerfield Beach office of Roig Lawyers.
Josh has almost 20 years’ experience in first-party insurance litigation and now focuses his practice solely on homeowners’ insurance claims. Josh manages all types of first-party property matters, from inception through trial, including claims denied pursuant to policy exclusions, claims denied for failure to cooperate / failure to comply with condition precedent, and claims where coverage was opened but the price and scope are in dispute. Josh prides himself on his initial review of the file, identifying the relative strengths and weaknesses early in the process to streamline litigation making it as cost effective as possible for the client.
Prior to joining the firm, Josh worked on both sides of the aisle, which gives him a valuable perspective into the thought processes of the policy holders and their counsel. Further, Josh has served as in-house counsel for a major national insurer and as Deputy General Counsel for a Florida insurer managing litigation state-wide. This experience gives him an appreciation for both the financial realities facing our clients and their expectations of outside counsel.
In addition to Florida, Josh is admitted to the state bars of New York and Massachusetts.
Josh is a proud Bostonian who earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in Miami, FL (1999), and his Bachelor of Science (Business & Economics) from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA (1995).
