Roig Lawyers Sponsors the 2015 CABA Annual Gala and Board Installation Dinner

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is a proud sponsor of the 2015 Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) Annual Gala and Board Installation Dinner at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, FL on January 31, 2015.

As a minority firm, Roig Lawyers understands the importance in actively participating in organizations such as CABA and supports their mission in increasing diversity in the judiciary and legal community. Several Roig Lawyers attorneys have held leadership roles with CABA and continue their involvement to strengthen the community.

The annual gala will benefit the Cuban American Bar Foundation (CABF). CABF has endowed CABA scholarships at law schools in the following universities: Florida International University, Florida State University, Nova Southeastern University, St. Thomas University, University of Florida, and University of Miami. In addition to the endowed scholarships at the law schools, each fall the Foundation awards an average of three to five at large scholarships to deserving students including two that are respectively named in honor of Past President Osvaldo Soto, Esq. and the late Hon. CABA is a non-profit voluntary bar association founded in 1974 by lawyers of Cuban descent. CABA’s members include judges, lawyers, and law students of all backgrounds interested in issues affecting the Cuban community, as well as broader legal and human rights issues impacting minority communities as a whole.
