ROIG Lawyers Miami Attorney Receives Certification Fraud Examiner Certificate

Christine Louissaint, an attorney in the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, has received the Certification Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certificate from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

The review course is intended to demonstrate the knowledge of four critical areas used to fight against fraud: Fraudulent Financial Transactions, Fraud Prevention and Deterrence, Legal Elements of Fraud, and Fraud Investigation. The CFE credential is geared towards associate members who are interested in taking their career to the next level in the anti-fraud profession.

“This marketable credential is being recognized worldwide as a standard of excellence in the anti-fraud profession, which can lead to many business opportunities with leading organizations. I believe that with this additional tool I will be able to provide the firm’s clients with an added dimension to fighting fraud,” said Christine.

Christine concentrates her practice in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims. She handles claims regarding the necessity of medical treatment, reasonableness of medical charges submitted to insurance carriers, and coverage disputes. Her experience includes negotiating settlements, preparing defense analysis reports, conducting depositions, and motion practice.

Christine has conducted extensive motion practice including but not limited to motions to strike affirmative defenses, motions to compel better responses, motions for protective order expert witness fee, and ex-parte motions to compel discovery responses in regards to Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation. Christine has handled litigation matters in Haitian Creole with clients.
