ROIG Lawyers Partner Presents “Legal Ethics in a Connected World: Portable Devices, Social Media, and the Cloud” CLE

May 5, 2016

Mark J. Rose, partner in the Deerfield Beach office of ROIG Lawyers, co-presented a CLE session titled “Legal Ethics in a Connected World: Portable Devices, Social Media and the Cloud” as part of the Basic Technology Law 2016 CLE program on May 4, 2016. The course was hosted by The Florida Bar and the Young Lawyers Division.

“The presentation discussed the ethical pitfalls and considerations with the use of technology in the practice of law, specifically portable devices, social media and the cloud. Although some of the technology seems complicated, Florida lawyers have an ethical obligation to stay abreast of technology and similarly have an ethical obligation to use this technology within the rules of procedure and ethical guidelines for practice,” said partner Mark J Rose.
