Roig First-Party Property Team Secure Defense Jury Verdict

Roig Lawyers Partner Patricia G. Preciado and Ricardo M. Luces and the First-Party Property Team obtained a defense jury verdict.
The case that was a complete denial of coverage based on the subject insurance policy exclusions and our position that Plaintiff failed to cooperate with the investigation by not submitting to the insurance carrier the documents requested during the claims evaluation process. The Plaintiff argued that the Defendant did not suffer any prejudice from not receiving the documents because they were able to complete their investigation regardless. The Plaintiff was seeking $100,000 at trial. After a contentious four day trial, the jury granted a Defense Verdict.
