Diversity

At Roig Lawyers, diversity and inclusion are ingrained in our firm’s identity—not just a goal or a checkbox we tick because one or two of us are of a different gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or physical ability. From day one, we’ve been a naturally inclusive and organically diverse law firm and team.

Roig Lawyers is one of the largest minority-founded and -owned law firms in the United States. We are proud to be nationally certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council. Those facts are not just bling we wear. The advantages for our clients are clear.

We add different perspectives and life experiences to our knowledge base, services, and products. Our partners, attorneys, and staff mirror you, your customers, and your workforce to facilitate stronger connections and more. For many of our clients, the make-up of our team helps them meet corporate requirements for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Further, diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA. It’s the root from which our clients’ successes grow. We believe that all of our clients benefit from diverse approaches to problem-solving and advocacy, and our success as a law firm proves it.

From a majority of women on our executive committee to our diverse equity partnership, attorneys, law clerks, investigators, and staff, our people—and their diversity—are our strength. Together, we marshal the power of our different backgrounds and points of view to provide a broader and more complete perspective on the work we do for clients. This rare cultural philosophy supports our clients and promotes a rich, collaborative workplace.

We also demonstrate our commitment to diversity and inclusion by participating in and supporting the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), one of the leading organizations focused on creating opportunities for women and minorities in the legal profession. NAMWOLF’s work has been transformative. It is responsible for the tremendous growth in the number of minority- and women-owned law firms in the United States and hundreds of millions of dollars in legal work referred to them. We participate in NAMWOLF because we believe that the legal profession is better when diverse lawyers can access opportunities in every aspect of the profession.
