Roig Lawyers Attorney Re-Elected as President of the Dade County Defense Bar Association

January 21, 2016

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that senior associate, John S. Leinicke, has been re-elected as President of the Dade County Defense Bar Association (DCDBA) for a third term. John joined the DCDBA board in 2013 as Vice President and was first elected President in 2014.

“I am a firm believer in encouraging high standards of best business practices throughout the legal community and aligning myself with an organization which does exactly that, is extremely rewarding,” said Leinicke.

The DCDBA is South Florida’s oldest voluntary bar organization dedicated solely to the civil defense litigator. In 1965, the DCDBA was formed to further the education, ethics, and professionalism of the local legal community. The DCDBA is a not-for-profit organization that provides each of its members the opportunity to network, socialize, and learn from the most outstanding members of the legal profession.

John’s practice primarily focuses on first-party litigation, fraud investigation, and statutory compliance issues involving medical licensure. John also has experience in the practice areas of medical malpractice and product liability. John is the current president of the DCDBA and the sponsorship vice-chair of the DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee. John is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 2004) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2008).
