Roig Lawyers is pleased to announce that Mark McCullough along with the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida will perform Street of Dreams: A Tribute to Broadway with special guests, multi-platinum singers, composers, lyricist, pianist, and actress, Ann Hampton Callaway. The performance will be held at the Bailey Hall on the Broward College Central Campus June 27, 2015.
Street of Dreams will feature favorites such as “It’s a Grand Night for Singing,” “Fascinating Rhythm,” “Blues in the Night,” “I’ve Never Been in Love Before, “People,” and “Look to the Rainbow.”
The Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida started in September 2010 with the dream of a few men who wanted to sing in a chorus, make great music, and operate with transparency and integrity. That dream continues to be realized and fulfilled in ways that can only be considered extraordinary. In five short years, the Chorus has grown to over one-hundred-and-seventy men, has sold out every concert, and has put into practice its commitment to “Inspiring Through Song.”
The Chorus has also been determined to give back to the community that has supported and nurtured its success and growth during these four years: providing over two thousand teddy bears to the Broward County Hospitals Pediatric Auxiliary; chaperoning at a gay youth prom; walking and raising money for the AIDS walk; bowling for Poverello; donating time and talent to a host of other charitable endeavors in the community.
