ROIG Lawyers’ Christine Louissaint Appointed Chapter Representative for Miami-Dade FAWL
Christine Louissaint, an associate in the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, has been appointed the chapter representative of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. As a chapter representative, Christine gets a vote on the state executive board for FAWL.
Christine replaces Julie Harris Nelson, another associate in ROIG’s Miami office. Nelson was recently elected FAWL’s state treasurer. Since that would have given her two votes on the executive board, Nelson was tasked with naming a successor and she chose Louissaint.
FAWL, which currently has more than 3,100 members, is a statewide organization with the mission of actively promoting gender equality and the leadership roles of FAWL’s members in the legal profession, judiciary and community at large.
ROIG Lawyers has been ranked #40 two years in a row in Law360’s “Top 100 Law Firms for Female Attorneys.”
