ROIG Lawyers’ Marcus Griggs Appointed to Bar Grievance Committee

Marcus B. Griggs, an associate in the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, has been appointed to serve on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee C for The Florida Bar. Marcus’ term runs from August 2016 to July 2019.
A grievance committee reviews Bar complaints much the same way as a grand jury works. The committee looks at cases to decide if there is probably cause that a lawyer violated professional conduct rules of the Bar and whether discipline is warranted.
