Roig Lawyers Marketing Director Appointed as a Regional Deputy President to the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Region VIII

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is a pleased to announce that Maylynn Vargas-Menoud has been selected to serve as one of the Regional Deputy Presidents for 2015-2016 by the HNBA Region VIII President and Liberty Mutual Group Regional General Attorney, Maria C. Dantes-Sanchez.

Vargas-Menoud will join a group of Regional Deputy Presidents to assist with increasing membership and exposure for the HNBA Region VIII throughout Florida. The HNBA Region VIII is excited about their upcoming Fall events, which will include the launch of their Mentoring Program in South Florida and a reception to celebrate the election of several Florida HNBA members to national roles within the HNBA.

The HNBA is an incorporated, not-for-profit, national membership association that represents the interests of Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, law students, and legal professionals in the United States and its territories. Since 1972, the HNBA has acted as a force for positive change within the legal profession by creating opportunities for Hispanic lawyers and by helping generations of lawyers to succeed. The HNBA has also effectively advocated on issues of importance to the national Hispanic community.

Vargas-Menoud has an extensive career in the South Florida legal market implementing strategic business development initiatives, directing media relations, branding, advertising, and website development as well as managing and overseeing sponsorships, events, charitable contributions, marketing training, and more for top law firms within the region.
