ROIG Lawyers’ Miami Attorney Completes Fraud Investigation Course
Christine Louissaint, an associate in the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, completed the Specialized Knowledge and Applications course, which was part of a Conducting Internal Investigations workshop in Orlando sponsored by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
The course prepares Christine for every step of an internal investigation into potential insurance fraud, from receiving the initial allegation to testifying as a witness. She learned how to lead an internal investigation, especially in how it relates to relevant legal aspects of internal investigations, using computers in investigations, collecting and analyzing internal and external information, interviewing witnesses and writing reports.

Christine handles claims regarding the necessity of medical treatment, reasonableness of medical charges submitted to insurance carriers and coverage disputes.
