ROIG Lawyers Attorney Receives Florida Healthcare Risk Management License

Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is pleased to announce that John S. Leinicke obtained his Florida Health Care Risk Management License and has been approved as a health care risk manager by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

With this new role, I renew my commitment to the proactive prevention of patient harm. The education and training I received while studying for my licensure will be put to good use representing Florida’s doctors, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and HMOs,” said Leinicke.

Leinicke is the current president of the Dade County Defense Bar Association (DCDBA) and the sponsorship vice-chair of the DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee. As the DCDBA president for three consecutive terms, Leinicke has dedicated time to furthering education, ethics, and professionalism in the local legal community. Leinicke practice primarily focuses on first party litigation, fraud investigation, and statutory compliance issues involving medical licensure. He also has experience in the practice areas of medical malpractice and product liability. He is a graduate of Boston University (B.A., 2004) and the University of Miami School of Law (J.D., 2008).
