Before entering private practice, Kahn served as a prosecutor in Miami-Dade County, where her work earned her MADD’s David Gilbert Prosecutor of the Year Award. She later served as in-house counsel for national insurers, advising on fraud prevention and complex claims, before transitioning to private practice. Her investigative work has also been formally recognized by the FBI for contributions to a large-scale investigation—underscoring her credibility and effectiveness in sophisticated fraud matters.
