Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin & Stoller and Zumpano Castro (formerly Infante Zumpano) Announce Union and Name Change to Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin, Stoller, Zumpano & Bellido Effective June 26
Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin & Stoller and Zumpano Castro (formerly Infante Zumpano) both minority-owned law firms dedicated to serving clients across seven offices throughout Florida, have announced that they will now operate under the new name, Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin, Stoller, Zumpano & Bellido, effective June 26, 2014.
The updated firm name reflects the recent union between Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin, & Stoller and Zumpano Castro (formerly Infante Zumpano) resulting in partners Carlos A. Zumpano, Antonio C. Castro, Daniel E. Zumpano along with several other attorneys of Zumpano Castro leading the firm’s state-wide commercial division from their Coral Gables office. In addition, the Firm name also reflects the recent addition of Nelson C. Bellido and his associates Diego Arredondo and Eric Fresco, formerly of Concepcion, Martinez & Bellido. Nelson joined as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Miami office, signaling the firm’s recent strategic efforts to further strengthen a diverse team of Hispanic legal professionals and expand into additional practice areas.
“Our name change marks a significant milestone for the firm,” said Fernando Roig, Founding Partner. “This transformation not only renews our commitment to diversity, our clients and our communities, but it collectively reinforces our legal experience and capabilities,” he said.
In February, the firm joined forces with Coral Gables-based Zumpano Castro (previously known as Infante Zumpano), including Carlos and Daniel Zumpano and Antonio Castro, to expand Roig’s commercial litigation resources and enter into new practice areas including corporate, real estate, tax and labor and employment law. The Zumpano Castro team has been leading the firm’s complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, general litigation, real estate, labor and employment, tax, and corporate practices.
The firm further diversified its capacity when it announced that Nelson C. Bellido, formerly of Concepcion, Martinez & Bellido, joined the firm as Managing Partner of the Miami office in early June. With more than 21 years of litigation and extensive trial experience, Nelson’s established reputation and trial history represents a valuable asset to the firm.
“We are energized by our continued growth,” notes Michael Rosenberg, the firm’s Managing Partner. “Not only have we broadened the expanse of our legal wisdom, but we’ve augmented our capabilities in each practice area,” he said. “We are now a comprehensive minority-owned litigation and transactional firm with more than 110 attorneys throughout seven offices across the state of Florida. While we continue to pursue new opportunities for continuing growth, Roig Lawyers adheres to its founding principles of highly personalized and attentive client service; we value the needs of our clients and strive for the best possible legal solutions.”
