She manages claims denied due to policy exclusions, noncompliance with policy conditions, or disputes over payment amounts. Kristen also has significant experience in Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault litigation and fraud (SIU) investigations, and she employs alternative dispute resolution techniques when appropriate to achieve efficient, cost-effective outcomes.
Kristen began her legal career after earning her J.D. from Ohio Northern University with certificates in Taxation and Real Property, along with Dean’s List honors and a Book Award in Wills, Trusts, and Estates. She also earned a legal intern certificate granting limited practice rights, allowing her to file pleadings and appear as attorney of record. Prior to law school, Kristen gained extensive business experience as a general manager of a multi-national restaurant chain, opening international locations in Canada, and later as a successful entrepreneur in property management. These experiences shaped her strategic approach to complex claims and client advocacy.

As a partner and managing attorney of Roig Lawyers’ First-Party Property division, Kristen oversees the defense of complex property and insurance matters, including preparation of Motions for Summary Judgment, corporate representative depositions, and trials. Before joining Roig Lawyers, she practiced at the Ohio Northern Legal Clinic, handling corporate transactional matters, domestic relations, and nonprofit cases, and gained additional experience in business management and operations.
