Nelson Bellido Sworn in as Chairperson for Miami-Dade County Fair

Nelson C. Bellido, the Managing Partner of the Miami office of ROIG Lawyers, has been sworn in as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition for the next two years through September 2019.

Nelson has served on the Youth Fair Board since 2007 and was a 7-time Scholarship winner that supported his undergrad education at Duke University and law school education at the University of Florida.

The Youth Fair serves the community from being there as a shelter during Hurricane Irma to supporting cultural events like the Columbia Festival, Caribbean Tropical Festival, Cuba Nostalgia, and of course, the Fair, with great food and rides and a commitment to promoting agriculture and horticulture education in our community.

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition is a state-chartered, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching our community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. Fairgrounds also provide quality facilities and resources for events, shows, concerts and festivals all year-round. Their facility is also home to the Tamiami Youth Basketball League and the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Department’s Summer Youth Camp.
