ROIG LAWYERS’ MIAMI MANAGING PARTNER NELSON C. BELLIDO ELECTED CHAIRPERSON OF NAMWOLF
March 3rd, 2026 — Roig Lawyers proudly announces that Nelson C. Bellido, Managing Partner of the firm’s Miami office, has been elected Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). In doing so, Nelson becomes the first Hispanic/Latino attorney to lead the organization in its 25-year history.
Founded in 2001, NAMWOLF is a nonprofit trade association composed of minority and women owned law firms from across the United States. The organization’s mission is to strengthen diversity in the legal profession by increasing the retention and utilization of minority and women owned law firms through strategic corporate alliances, coalition building, and partnerships with in-house counsel and legal associations nationwide.
As a seasoned trial lawyer with more than three decades of experience, Nelson C. Bellido leads Roig Lawyers’ Business Litigation and Product Liability practices and serves as Managing Partner of the firm’s Miami office. He represents Fortune 500 companies, mid-size businesses, and individual clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, complex litigation, insurance, labor and employment, corporate law, and more. Known for his strategic approach to corporate crisis management and his unwavering commitment to client-focused results, Nelson has earned recognition as a trusted advisor to in-house counsel and corporate leaders.
In addition to his practice, Nelson serves as a visiting lecturer at Duke University School of Law, where he teaches corporate crisis management and the role of outside counsel. He also remains actively engaged in the community and serves on the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics & Public Trust.
