Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, is a proud sponsor of the Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association (GSCBWLA) 30th Anniversary Celebration Gala being held at the Epic Hotel on November 6, 2015.
The anniversary gala is intended to celebrate the success of the organizations history and to honor its pioneering founders for paving the way to equality for black women lawyers in the legal community. “We are humbled to take part in such a momentous occasion in celebrating the evolution of an organization that has done so much for the legal community”, said founding partner, Fernando L. Roig.
GSCBWLA is a professional association, formed in 1985, that concentrates on the development of its members and on community service. The association’s mission is to address the concerns of women lawyers, and to address the legal, social, and economic needs of the Black community and the community- at- large. GSCBWLA is a network of attorneys dedicated to community service and the professional development of its members. GSCBWLA currently represents over 350 men and women law students, lawyers and judges throughout the State of Florida.
