Roig Lawyers Welcomes Tara E. Faenza to its Commercial Litigation Practice

MIAMI, FL – Roig Lawyers is pleased to announce that Tara E. Faenza has joined the firm as a Partner in its Miami office, further strengthening the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Products Liability practice groups under the leadership of Nelson Bellido, Managing Partner of the Miami office.

Faenza is an accomplished litigator licensed in both Florida and Illinois, with more than a decade of experience representing businesses, insurers, employers, and corporate stakeholders in complex commercial and civil litigation matters. Her arrival deepens Roig Lawyers’ ability to provide strategic, business-focused counsel to clients navigating high-stakes disputes across a broad range of industries.

Her practice spans commercial litigation, product liability, construction litigation, labor & employment defense, professional liability, premises liability, and insurance-related disputes. Faenza has handled complex matters in state and federal courts involving business disputes, construction defect claims, first- and third-party liability matters, workplace disputes, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and contract claims. She also counsels clients on risk management, litigation strategy, dispute resolutions involving arbitration, and compliance issues that impact day-to-day business operations.

Before joining Roig Lawyers, Faenza built a diverse litigation practice representing clients in employment, construction, commercial, insurance, and professional liability matters. Earlier in her career, she served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she gained extensive courtroom experience handling jury and bench trials. Her trial background, combined with her strategic and business-minded approach, enables her to guide clients through all stages of litigation, from early case assessment through resolution.

A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor cum laude and received a Certificate in Employment, Labor & Immigration Law, Faenza has been recognized throughout her career for her professional achievements. She was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2016 through 2023 and remains actively involved in numerous professional and community organizations, including The Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section, the National Employment Law Council, and Dade Legal Aid’s pro bono programs.
