Tara E. Faenza is a Partner in Roig Lawyers’ Miami office and a seasoned complex commercial litigation attorney, who has focuses her work on labor and employment matters, advising employers, insurers, businesses, and corporate stakeholders on workplace and litigation matters.
With more than a decade of litigation experience, Tara has built a reputation for delivering strategic, practical counsel while aggressively representing clients in state and federal courts. Her practice concentrates on commercial disputes and litigation, employment litigation, workplace compliance, risk management, and helping organizations navigate evolving employment laws while protecting their business interests.
Tara represents employers in matters involving wage and hour disputes (FLSA), discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, executive employment agreements, and administrative proceedings before the EEOC, FCHR, and NLRB. In addition to her labor and employment practice, she handles complex commercial and general liability litigation involving construction, professional liability, premises liability, product liability, and insurance-related disputes. A former Assistant State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, Tara brings extensive courtroom experience, having first-chaired numerous jury and bench trials throughout her career. Known for her strategic, results-driven approach, she partners closely with clients to develop proactive solutions that minimize risk, resolve disputes efficiently, and support long-term business success.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Roig Lawyers, Tara served as Partner at Pathman Law, LLC, where she led the firm’s employment defense practice and advised clients in the hospitality, construction, and professional services industries. She was responsible for firm-wide litigation management, attorney supervision, and defending employers in complex employment disputes involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, hostile work environment allegations, and restrictive covenant matters.
Before entering private practice, Tara served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she handled a substantial trial docket and gained extensive courtroom experience, including more than 20 jury trials and over 50 bench trials.
