Congratulations to Kathryn Desire and our Roig team for a favorable outcome!
Due to Ms. Desire’s aggressive litigation of a first party property claim for nearly 2 years, she uncovered information that the majority of the damages sought were not reimbursable in the claim. She kept the pressure on Plaintiffs by filing Motions to Strike and Exclude, as well as a Motion for Summary Judgment, which were unilaterally set. Due to her hard work and information discovered, she was able to secure a walk away wherein all parties ended the litigation without further payments on behalf of either party. A Notice of Voluntary Dismissal with Prejudice was just filed alleviating the client of any future liability for this loss.
