Carolina earned her Juris Doctor, with a concentration in Health Law, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, a Master of Legal Studies with a Certificate in Regulatory Compliance from Washington University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from Nova Southeastern University.
Prior to joining Roig Lawyers, Carolina spent nearly a decade as a litigation support professional handling complex bodily injury, medical malpractice, general liability, and property insurance disputes. She managed a high-volume litigation docket and developed substantial experience evaluating liability, analyzing damages, coordinating discovery, preparing mediation materials, and supporting trial strategy. She also gained experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory matters through legal internships and clinical work, where she researched HIPAA, ADA, licensing, and compliance issues and assisted with healthcare-related agreements and transactional and regulatory compliance matters for business clients.
