Geoffrey Lutz is Of Counsel to Roig Lawyers and assists the firm’s Construction Defect Division. Geoffrey brings nearly two decades of litigation experience to the firm, with a practice focused on complex construction defect litigation, contract disputes, and alternative dispute resolution. He is highly regarded for his ability to guide clients through the intricacies of construction-related claims, from pre-suit evaluation through all phases of litigation and trial.

Throughout his career, Geoffrey has represented developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in a wide range of matters involving multi-party litigation, defect claims, and high-exposure disputes. He is adept at managing complex cases involving allegations of construction deficiencies, contractual issues, and professional liability. His extensive background in alternative dispute resolution enables him to achieve favorable outcomes efficiently and effectively, often mitigating risks for clients in highly contentious matters.

Before joining Roig Lawyers, Geoffrey served as the founding partner of Lutz Law, P.A., where he advised clients on sophisticated construction defect and contract litigation. Previously, he was managing partner at Resnick & Louis, P.C., where he led the firm’s Florida Orlando operations and oversaw legal teams handling construction defect litigation across the state. Earlier in his career, Geoffrey worked as a partner and associate at Denis & Davey, P.A., and as an associate at several prominent defense firms, where he gained invaluable insight into the strategies of both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation.

Geoffrey’s diverse experience enables him to provide practical and strategic counsel to his clients, delivering innovative solutions tailored to their business and litigation needs. His comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, coupled with his litigation acumen, makes him a trusted advisor in navigating complex legal challenges.

Geoffrey obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida.
