Lucero Ayala Feliciano is a Senior Associate in Roig Lawyers’ Tampa office, where she focuses her practice on insurance defense, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, and general civil litigation. Lucero has experience handling high-exposure litigation involving premises liability, negligence, and motor vehicle claims. She has served as lead counsel in gig economy litigation, managing pre-suit investigations and all phases of litigation on behalf of a national transportation network company. She also has significant experience conducting fraud investigations and developing litigation strategies in support of Motions for Fraud Upon the Court seeking dismissal and other sanctions.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Prior to joining Roig Lawyers, Lucero served as an Associate Attorney with Burger, Meyer & D’Angelo LLP, where she represented a national gig economy company in motor vehicle negligence litigation. In that role, she managed pre-suit investigations, oversaw litigation from inception through resolution, and conducted extensive fraud investigations supporting Motions for Fraud Upon the Court.
Previously, Lucero was a Senior Associate Attorney at Lydecker, LLP, where she handled high-exposure insurance defense matters involving premises liability and negligence. During her tenure, she successfully obtained summary judgment rulings resulting in the dismissal of claims while consistently exceeding the firm’s billable hour expectations.
Lucero began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the State Attorney’s Office for Florida’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. There, she prosecuted more than 600 criminal cases, served as lead trial counsel in jury and bench trials, advocated for victims throughout the criminal justice process, and negotiated plea agreements.
