Philip L. Colesanti is a partner in the Tampa office of Roig Lawyers.

Philip concentrates his practice primarily toward defending bodily injury/uninsured motorist claims and premises liability claims.  He also handles litigation related to Florida’s No-Fault Law/Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Windshield/Auto Glass/First Party Automobile Property.  He handles presuit claims and cases from inception through trial. Philip also provides identification and investigation of fraud related matters pre litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Philip practiced criminal defense at the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office. He tried more than 30 jury trials at both the misdemeanor and felony level.  While in law school, Philip interned for the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office, the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office and was a student attorney at the FIU College of Law Family and Children’s Advocacy Clinic where he received the clinic’s Excellence in Service award. He was also the attorney general of the university-wide FIU Student Government Association.

Philip obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 2009 from the University of Central Florida. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Florida International University College of Law in 2012.
