Yolanda began her legal career after earning her J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2012 and her B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico in 1995. She started her legal career in Puerto Rico doing pro-bono work in immigration on adjustment of status and expedited removal cases. She moved to Florida at the end of 2013 and gained experience in small firms in the areas of personal injury liability, negligence and medical malpractice before joining Roig in 2020. Since then, she has managed complex insurance and product liability cases from inception through resolution across Florida’s courts.
