With 25 years of dedicated experience in the legal field, Jenna is a seasoned litigator specializing in all aspects of insurance defense matters with a particular focus on premises liability, personal injury, general and automobile negligence defense. Her clients include various retail, hospitals, supermarkets, and insurance companies. Jenna has been with Roig Lawyers for over 20 years and is a partner with the firm’s Jacksonville liability department but represents clients throughout the state. She is barred in Florida, and in the United Stated District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
Jenna has successfully represented clients in numerous trials and has achieved a remarkable record of summary judgment wins, showcasing a deep commitment to excellence in litigation. Known for an organized, collaborative and strategic approach, Jenna believes in fostering strong relationships with clients and opposing counsel alike. This ability to maintain good rapport not only facilitates effective communication and resolutions but also helps in navigating the complexities of each case with ease and professionalism.
Outside of the courtroom, Jenna who was born in the Bahamas and spent the majority of her life in Florida, embraces a passion for travel, theater, and tennis, often finding inspiration through diverse cultural experiences. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001, Jenna earned her J.D., with honors, from Nova Southeastern University in 2000 and her B.S. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Barry University in 1996. She began her career representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and class action litigation before moving into insurance defense.
Prior to joining Roig Lawyers in 2003, Jenna worked at Green, Ackerman & Frost, P.A. for nearly three years, gaining invaluable experience in insurance defense as well as commercial and personal injury matters. Since then, she has managed numerous jury trials, led the firm’s Trial Division, and continues to oversee trial-ready case preparation and training for attorneys across the firm.
