Keith Hernandez

As a Partner in Roig Lawyers’ Deerfield Beach office, Keith Hernandez is a trusted trial lawyer with more than a decade of experience representing insurers and corporations in complex, high-exposure disputes. 

Keith is known for his ability to simplify complicated legal issues and builds strategies that deliver results. He guides clients through each stage of litigation with confidence and clarity. While his practice covers insurance defense, bodily injury, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, and premises liability, he focuses primarily on fraud (SIU) investigations. His meticulous case preparation, persuasive courtroom advocacy, and client-centered approach emphasize efficiency, risk management, and clear communication.

Beginning his legal career at Green, Murphy, and Murphy, P.A., Keith handled personal injury and uninsured motorist cases. He later served as PIP Manager at Allen, Kopet and Associates, where he oversaw a team of attorneys managing high volumes of litigation. He then broadened his work in civil litigation and insurance defense, laying the foundation for the focused and strategic practice he leads today at Roig Lawyers fraud investigations attorney and trial lawyer.

After law school, Keith served on active duty in the U.S. Army. He began as a 1st Lieutenant, later became a Military Police officer, and rose to the rank of Captain. During his service, he trained and deployed multiple units to Afghanistan and Iraq and instructed cadets at the United States Military Academy at West Point. These experiences sharpened his ability to lead under pressure, a quality that defines his work in high-stakes litigation. 

Keith contributes actively to the legal and business community through several bar associations, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce. He also mentors young attorneys and supports initiatives that expand access to justice, strengthening the legal community in South Florida.
