With a reputation for persuasive advocacy and deep insurance law knowledge, Abbi F. Carr has built her career successfully guiding insurers through high-stakes property disputes and appeals that shape Florida law.

As a Partner in the firm’s Deerfield Beach office, she turns complex insurance matters into persuasive, results-driven arguments at both the trial and appellate levels. Abbi has extensive experience handling first-party property litigation as well as defending automobile insurance claims. Insurers frequently rely on her for guidance on litigation strategy, statutory compliance, and emerging case law impacting Florida’s insurance landscape.

As Co-Chair of Roig Lawyers’ Appellate Division, Abbi provides comprehensive support to trial teams by preserving appellate rights, preparing dispositive motions, and managing all aspects of appellate briefing and oral argument. Her appellate work spans a wide range of insurance issues, including statutory interpretation, constitutional challenges, and procedural matters with industry-wide impact. 

In addition to her litigation practice, Abbi conducts Examinations Under Oath in connection with questionable or potentially fraudulent claims. She teaches continuing education courses for claims adjusters and CLE seminars for attorneys through The Florida Bar.

Beyond her casework, Abbi is active in the legal and business community through her involvement with multiple bar associations, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the South Palm Beach County chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. She is also an alumna of the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Boca program.
